  • Rafting Company, USA: Developed and maintained a comprehensive staff-client management system for a rafting company with 50+ staff, utilising Google Forms, Apps Script triggers, and advanced formulas to track employee availability, create dynamic scheduling boards, and generate compliance reports for Colorado State Parks. (Google Apps Script, Google Workspace, Google Sheets, SpreadsheetsApp, Google Sheets API, Google Drive, Google Docs API, DocumentApp, DriveApp, WebApp, Front-end development) 
  • Commercial Construction, Australia: Built a Google Workspace Add-on for a construction company using CardService to automate correspondence, task assignments, and calendar reminders.   • Data API Aggregator, Austria: Built a commercial Google Workspace Editor Add-on for a data streaming company, enabling users to enrich datasets with company, people, location, and weather data from hundreds of APIs through a single interface.   • Micro-Distillery, Australia: Created a micro-distillery management system in Google Sheets with a custom sidebar for regulatory compliance, inventory management, recipe development, and alcohol calculations.   • Directional Drilling Company, USA: Developed a project planning Gantt chart and dashboard for a horizontal directional drilling company, incorporating staff and rig scheduling, cost-revenue analysis, and automated assignment features.(Google Apps Script, Google Sheets, Google APIs, GmailApp)
  • Geospatial Company, USA: Integrated Trello API data into a custom project financials Google Sheet for a geospatial company, enabling deal management, project manager assignment, client invoicing, and automated archiving. (Google Apps Script, Google Sheets, Google APIs, GmailApp, SpreadsheetApp)
  • Property Legal Firm, USA: Created custom Google Apps Script code for a Google Sheet to move data to different locations on a Sheet and update separate Google Sheets. (Google Apps Script, Google Sheets, SpreadsheetApp)
  • Social Service Volunteer Organisation, Australia: Developed a mail merge tool for an organisation’s custom print newsletter (Google Sheets, Google Docs, Gmail, Google Apps Script, SpreadsheetApp, DocumentApp, GmailApp).
  • University, Saudi Arabia: Built a teacher performance Google Sheet with a custom sidebar and menus in Google Apps Script that tracks teacher performance over several metrics over time and generates dynamic reports for management.   • University, Saudi Arabia: Automated uploading grades into Google Classroom from a Google Sheet. (Google Apps Script, Google Sheets, Google APIs, SpreadsheetApp, ClassroomApp)
  • Chemical Engineering Firm, Australia: Created a Google Workspace Add-on for custom correspondence between business and client. (Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Calendar, Gmail, Google Apps Script)
  • IT Software as a Service Company (SaaS), Canada: Produced a Tech Support form tool that prioritises the issue and alerts the support team. A support member is then selected to review the issue and the results are logged. A later custom feedback form is sent for team development. (Google Apps Script, Google Workspace Add-on, Google Chat App, Google Chat API, Card Service, UrlFetchApp, Google Cloud Console)

     

Migrating to Google Workspace

  • Google, Singapore: Collaborated with Google Singapore’s Workspace Sales team to guide a client on integrating Google Workspace APIs into OutSystems no-code software via service accounts and HTTP requests. (Google Cloud Console, Google Service Accounts, CURL, HTTP, Google Workspace, Google Apps Script, Postman, Google APIs, OutSystems)
  • University, Saudi Arabia: Migrated a 120 staff business using consumer accounts to Google Workspace. I provided:
    • Administrative setup.
    • Transition planning.
    • Process and procedure mapping for documents and folders.
    • Integration of 3rd-party apps.
    • Onboarding training and best practice documentation for staff.
    • Ongoing support as administrator.

Google Developer Expert – Google Workspace

I am an Australian Google Workspace Freelance Developer, Administrator and Educator with over 4 years of experience in this field.

I have worked as the administrative manager for a 140-staff-strong education company migrating the company to Google Workspace and building automation solutions and training my team to do the same.

As a freelance consultant, I have worked on short automation projects, larger business process integrations, Google Workspace Migration and Google Workspace account administration.

I have been an active educator of all things Google Apps Script and Google Workspace since 2017 writing a number of tutorials each month on the topic. So you know I love what I do.

I generally only take clients from Australia mostly because it is easier to deal with the contract side of things. However, if the project is interesting enough, I would certainly be happy to accommodate you.
