Adding images can be useful for styling up your Google Sheet or providing a visual explanation of some of your data.

You can also add images to cell references. Perhaps you have a parts list that you want to add an image into for your sales team to easily reference. You can do this by inserting images.

Another use of adding images to Google Sheets is to provide instruction on how to use your Google Sheet. You might want to consider providing an Instructions Google Sheets tab for your users so that they know how they are meant to use your sheets. You can even insert a GIF file to display a mini video of steps.

In this tutorial, I’ll cover,
1. Discuss the two options for inserting images in sheets.
2. Inserting images from a file.
3. Inserting images from your Google Drive.
4. Inserting images from a link.
5. Copying and pasting screenshots into your Google Sheet.
